The UKATA Diploma in Transactional Analysis is launched for Psychotherapy

  • Published in News

The UKATA Diploma is becoming a reality for the field of psychotherapy.

For more information about requirements, procedure and application forms access the UKATA Diploma Page.

The requirements for the diploma were discussed and proposed by members of TSC and AAC. These were then approved and agreed by Council in April this year.
Council has thoroughly reviewed the details of the diploma in the last few months. The greatest change is that the fee will be reduced to £50 rather than the current £200. And the diploma certificates will be signed by the Chair.

Those obtaining their Diploma will be able to list themselves with ‘UKATA Diploma in TA Practice’ (Dip. TA Practice).  This award is not a formal TA qualification that is recognised in the worldwide TA community but training could be recognised by counselling bodies. It is recognition of work, training, practice & supervision and held in high regard within UKATA.
